Invalid Entry File Column Number - mixed event error
When a meet schedule has at least one mixed gender event, all the single gender events must exist in gender pairs (either B/G or M/W). The session(s) of the mixed gender event and the pairs of single gender events is not significant.
When you process the entries you get an "Invalid Entry File Column Number" error and/or you get competitors entered in the wrong events.
To avoid this known issue, when you have at least one mixed gender event in your meet schedule, ensure that all single gender events are paired. You may need to add a dummy event (ie an event with no entries that you don't intend to swim) for the opposite gender.
To fix the error for the current meet, add a dummy event for the missing gender, refile the schedule and tick the box 'Set up entry files'. You will see a message 'xxxx entry file already exists do you want to overwrite' where xxxx is a 'gender'. Click 'NO' for the gender with the valid event and 'YES' for the opposite gender with the new, dummy event.
Alternatively, you can alter the single gender event to a mixed event and then edit the event title (do this in Before Meet > Meet Definition > Event) from 'mixed' back to the original gender.
